 Niandra "Nia" Ali

17 year old Nia is the heiress to the wealthy Ali conglomerate. She's naive and a bit narrow-minded. Raised by her grandmother, Ashmari, Nia has been groomed her whole life to inherit the family fortune. 

Held to rigid expectations that often feel suffocating, Nia is desperate for a break in the monotony. 

Abilities: The sudden emergence of her telekinesis catches Nia off-guard. She can create forcefields, and move objects with her mind. These abilities have set her on a dangerous path that will change the trajectory of her life.

 

Julliet Marisol Inocenia Pena 

After her father is convicted of killing her mother, Julliet spends most of her childhood in foster care. The instability that creates, makes her prone to unpredictable bouts of anger or extreme sadness. Years of exploitation in an unforgiving system have made Julliet suspicious and cynical, but still hungry for genuine human connection. That hunger drives her to reach out to connect with Nia when they have a chance meeting at the mall. 

Abilities: Julliet's struggled to keep her abilities of mineral absorption hidden for most of her life, but her temper leaves her vulnerable to exposure.

Ashmari Ali

Ashmari is the current CEO of Ali Holdings, a corporate conglomerate with multiple branches of business under its umbrella. After her husband lost his battle with cancer, she inherited the company. 

After suddenly losing her son and daughter-in-law in a tragic car accident, Ashmari became sole guardian of her granddaughter Nia. 

Ashmari is also a board member on the hidden Initium Society. A shadow organization with their hands in cybertechnology and most importantly, experimental science and medicine. Ashmari has spent most of Nia's childhood ensuring her powers never manifest, to keep her safe from the clutches of more desperate, and unscrupulous board members. Can Ashmari continue to protect her granddaughter when all the secrets are laid bare? 

 

 Lacienne "Lace" Reed

  

 Ever since their parents went out an never came home, Lace and her   twin brother, Vinyl, have been on the run. Lacienne is strong-willed,     but quick-witted. She is cautious of others and painfully aware of the   risk their existence poses to the people who made them what they are.   But rather than live in fear, Lace and Vinyl have taken the offensive.   They're on the hunt, not just for their parents, but for the others like   them. Together they stand a chance at freedom.

 Abilities: Both twins have the ability to sense and interpret people's feelings, no matter how well hidden. They can also influence and manipulate those feelings. Lace can also enter people's dreams if she focuses hard enough. The white iris is a side effect of this ability. The twins' powers are amplified two- fold when they are together. 

Vinyl Reed

Like his sister, Vinyl is strong-willed, but with a quicker temper. Both twins have fought to survive after the disappearance of their parents, and have struggled to retrace their steps. Vinyl is less invested in tracking down the other teens like them, than his sister. He is without her relentless sense of hope, and doesn't think the others will be any more helpful than them on their own. He is exceedingly distrustful of outsiders, and would prefer to keep their circle small. Just the two of them.

Abilities: emotional manipulation and Vinyl can manage some memory modification. People won't remember seeing him if he doesn't want them to.  

Dickson "DJ" Hu

17-year-old Dickson grew up well cared for in a loving adoptive family, and completely unaware of his origins. A student at Bay City University on a football scholarship with the Bay City Lions, Dickson continues to carefully hide the abilities that abruptly manifested at the beginning of his teens. One day, at practice, he sees a mysterious girl sitting in the stands. Then he starts to see her in his dreams. He has no idea what it means, but he wants to know more about this elusive woman and her connection the part of him he hides away.

Abilities: super strength, speed and intelligence. He has a strong handle on his abilities, and his intelligence has allowed him to graduate high school a year early.
